A Caricature
A friend made in the bookstore, followed in his mystery reviews in the Seattle Times, and the kind of freelance writer who actually earns a living -- through dint of constant labor, curiosity, and a unique determination, having met one impossible deadline, to take on three more that very day. His nonfiction for a juvenile audience runs to more titles than most bookstores stock. Remarkable man, and quite nice, to boot.

Adam Woog is a fine writer, a good husband, a great dad, and a wonderful human being.
ReplyDeleteI've never booted him, not once. I'll have to try that!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm really happy that he's my friend as well. (and he's cuter than this! happily married, yes, but I get to say that as his friend.)
Cute would be the word, but then this is a caricature, not a class photo, dear.
ReplyDeleteNot bad at cards either, heh heh.
ReplyDeleteAdam is a very nice man indeed!
