It, as they say, is on! Please join me, Thursday, July 14th, at seven in the evening, at the University Book Store, Seattle, for a reading in celebration of the two hundredth birthday of William Makepeace Thackeray. (His actual birthday is on the 18th, but that date was booked, so we're getting the weekend off to a good start. There may be cake.)
