    I used to do a Dorothy Parker piece [speech team set in the ancient days of 'My Brilliant (high school) Career!'] about a woman waiting for the telephone to ring ... "ring, damn you, just ring!" & whatnot.

    Not that anyone cares ... still, just saying ... I am here.
